The IESO would like to thank everyone who participated in the comment period for the Energy Partnerships Program (EPP) draft rules. The comment period on the EPP draft rules has now closed.  The IESO will consider all comments and feedback received during the comment period in preparation for the launch of the final EPP Program.

Draft Program Rules for the Energy Partnerships Program now Available

The IESO is developing a new renewable energy support initiative, the Energy Partnerships Program (EPP), to streamline existing program offerings while improving the ability of communities and organizations to develop renewable energy projects.  We need your input on this new program.

The EPP will consolidate four existing programs and will continue to support Aboriginal Communities, Co-operatives, Municipalities and Public Sector Entities in the participation of Ontario’s energy sector.

CEPP application period is now closed

CEPP application period is now closed

May 4, 2015 - The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) will no longer be accepting applications under the CEPP Program.

All applications that arrived prior to May 4, 2015 by 5:00pm will be evaluated and if successful, offered a Funding Agreement under the current CEPP Program.

April 23, 2015: Education and Capacity Building Program 2.0 Now Accepting Proposals

The 2015 Call for Proposals is now open. The ECB Program is accepting funding proposals from First Nation and Metis communities and organizations, co-ops, municipalities, public sector entities, registered charities and not-for profit organizations. The target dollar amount available for the 2015 Call for Proposals is $1,000,000.00. 

The deadline to submit a proposal is June 5, 2015 at 12:00 noon (ET).

CEPP transition to the consolidated program

The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) is developing a new funding program that will improve and consolidate the Community Energy Partnerships Program (CEPP) with the Aboriginal Renewable Energy Fund (AREF), the Municipal and Public Sector Energy Partnerships Program (MPSEPP), and Aboriginal Transmission Fund (ATF) Programs.

The Ontario Power Authority is pleased to announce the launch of the Education and Capacity Building (ECB) Program.

The ECB Program provides support for diverse education and capacity-building initiatives as well as to facilitate knowledge-sharing and the participation of various target audiences in Ontario's renewable energy sector. First Nation and Métis communities and organizations, municipalities, public sector entities, registered charities, not-for-profit organizations and co-operatives are eligible to apply.
