Apply for a CEPP Project Grant
The application process for CEPP funding is organized by renewable energy generation technology, as each technology has some criteria specific to the project development process and fund application deliverables.
Applications are geared to where you are in the development process: Grant 1 - Design & Development or Grant 2 - Regulatory Approvals. Ensure you are applying for the appropriate grant(s) given your project type and where you are in the project development process.
You will find guidelines in each application section. Guideline documents contain valuable information to assist with your CEPP grant application.
Applicants may apply to the CEPP at any stage of the project design, development and regulatory approvals process. Materials to be attached to Grant 1 applications include:
- Landowner MOI (where relevant);
- RETScreen & Ontario Wind, Solar, Hydro Atlas projections or other preliminary resource assessment;
- Project Site Map;
- Local Distribution Company (LDC) consultation report; and
- Grant 1 CEPP Budget
Materials to accompany Grant 2 applications include
- FIT Contract or FIT Status Letter;
- Land Lease Agreement (or similar);
- Advance RETScreen or equivalent
- All other required Grant 1 reports relevant to your project; and
- Grant 2 CEPP Budget and Draft Business Plan
