Community Power Fund - CEPP Fund Manager
The mission of the Community Power Fund (CP Fund) is to ensure sufficient financial resources are available to support a renewable and sustainable energy economy owned, developed and governed by Ontario communities.
The CP Fund has successfully managed and operated a multi-million dollar community power grant program since 2007. Through this experience, CP Fund gained a deep understanding of the broader financing needs of community power projects, and is subsequently transitioning into a fund management company able to support community projects throughout all stages of project development. Community Power Finance Co-operative Corporation (CP Finance) will reflect the organization’s expanded mandate as a developer and manager of multiple funds to meet the growing needs of the community owned projects in Ontario.

Ontario Ministry of Energy
The Ministry of Energy works with many partners inside and outside government to build the schools, public transit, hospitals and energy generation facilities that help power our economy-and to ensure that Ontario remains one of the best places in the world in which to live, work, invest and raise a family.
A top priority is meeting Ontario's electricity needs in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring there is a reliable supply of energy today and into the future to power our economy and our quality of life. Developing renewable energy sources and fostering a conservation-oriented culture are cornerstones of Ontario's balanced plan to move away from dirty coal-fired plants by providing new, clean and non-emitting affordable energy.
